The Discernment group will explore practices and questions that help us discern our path is life. It is a great space to sit with questions big and small!

Reading Rainbow

Park at Clifton Heights Christian Church (622 N Hite Ave) – Darcie’s house it just across the street.
Each week we will read a chapter of The Universe in a Single Atom by the Dali Lama, and discuss it over dinner. This book comes with the highest recommendation from two valuable sources. The New York times says it is “ a clearheaded account by a religious leader who not only respects science but embraces it.” Tim Garren says it is his favorite book.

Worship @ Bellarmine
Thursday nights @ 6:30 pm @ Our Lady of the Woods Chapel at Bellarmine
The chapel at Bellarmine is a beautiful setting to explore various ways to worship. You do not have to be a Bellarmine student to join us. Join us and you can help shape what Kinesis worship will look like.

Village Gathering at UofL

In the last days, God says,
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy.
Your young will see visions.
Your elders will dream dreams.
Acts 2:17, Common English Bible

On September 12, Kinesis and the Hispanic Latino Commission came together to suppor the dreams and vision of our young adults and college students. We learned about the real life possibilities of the “Dream Act” which would allow the children of undocumented immigrants to go to college in the United States. We heard the biblical story of Joseph, a dreamer and immigrant in his own right, and reflected on the call of the gospel to create sanctuary, a safe place for all people.

The Village
The Village is a monthly gathering of diverse communities for prophetic liturgy, celebration, fellowship and fun.
Join us as we envision and embody an emmerging Church.
