What does Kinesis mean?

Kinesis [ki-nee-sis]

1. The movement of an organism in response to a stimulus.

2. Greek: κινεο
From the Greek word kineo meaning to move or to stir up. Found in Acts 17:28a…“For ‘In [God] we live and move and have our being.’”

3. A spiritual community for college-aged young adults in Mid-Kentucky Presbytery forming in response to God’s Spirit.

4. A new ministry with an age group that searches for meaning, yet typically becomes less interested and involved in church.
